Our neighborhoods thrive when we invest in local businesses, job creation, and workforce development. I’m committed to fostering an environment that encourages entrepreneurship, attracts diverse industries, and provides resources for small businesses to grow.

Support Small Businesses

Increase access to funding and mentorship programs for entrepreneurs and small business owners, especially in underserved areas.

Workforce Development

Partner with educational institutions and local businesses to provide job training, apprenticeships, and skills development that align with the city’s growth sectors.

Housing, Healthcare, & Food Insecurity

It breaks my heart to see folks struggling to afford basic housing needs, contributing to a growing homeless population. The state ranks near the bottom in both poverty and healthcare. That doesn’t mean Ward 7 has to. I will use my experience in pediatrics to shape my approach to this issue. But it’s also vital to ensure our elders age with dignity and in capable and friendly hands.

A Fair & Equitable Justice System

Criminal justice reform needs to be modernized. As your councilman, I will prioritize calls about violence interruption and mental health initiatives. Everyone deserves to be safe, and we shouldn’t rely solely on the police to make that a reality.

Improving Roads, Parks, & Public Transportation

I will fight for upgraded roads, streetlights, and a better transit system in Ward 7. I will also champion initiatives that invest in park programming and rejuvenating community spaces. This will improve curbside appeal in our neighborhoods and encourage our children to get out and play!
